On January 16, 2026, Saipem announced the resignation of non-executive and independent Board Director Roberto Diacetti.

QatarEnergy LNG Contract:
In late December 2025, Saipem secured a roughly $3.1 billion share (in a $4 billion total deal) for the North Field Production Sustainability (NFPS) project, with offshore work scheduled for 2029–2030.
Sakarya Gas Field (Turkey): Secured a $425 million contract for the third phase of the Sakarya gas field development, following previous work in the region.
Aker BP Extension: Secured a third contract extension for the Scarabeo 8 drilling unit in Norway, extending operations into 2028.
Middle East Hire: Hired Rana Subsea for work in the Middle East.
