Chevron is expanding its exploration push across Sub-Saharan Africa, with the latest Angola discovery adding to a broader regional growth strategy.

The company currently produces around 300,000 boe/d net in the region and has strengthened its position through new acreage and recent exploration successes in Nigeria.

Further exploration is planned in Namibia, Nigeria, Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea, as Chevron looks to build new production opportunities across the region.
