Chevron has discovered oil and gas condensate at an exploration well offshore Angola, finding more than 90 meters of net pay in the Pinda reservoir. The discovery adds to Chevron’s push to grow production in sub-Saharan Africa, where it currently produces around 300,000 boe/d. The company will assess whether the find can be connected to nearby existing infrastructure, potentially lowering development costs and accelerating production.
