APA Corporation’s US independent APA Corporation (operating via its Apache Egypt unit) announced an onshore gas discovery in Egypt’s Western Desert. The Skal-1X exploration well, located in the south of the Kalabsha region, yielded estimated production rates of 26 million cubic feet per day of natural gas and 2,700 barrels per day of condensates.
