Egypt’s Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company (PETROJET) has won a $273 million Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract to build a 193-kilometer natural gas pipeline in Oman.
The contract was awarded by OQ Gas Networks (OQGN), Oman’s sole gas transmission operator.

Completion Timeline Scheduled for completion within 24 months
This project is part of a broader effort to expand Oman’s gas infrastructure, boost gas supply reliability to industrial hubs like Suhar and Duqm, and deepen energy cooperation between Oman and Egypt. As part of this cooperation, PETROJET will also be involved in implementing the first phase of OQGN’s planned hydrogen pipeline network.
