Tanker industry includes the upcoming January 2026 EU ban on Russian-origin refined products, which impacts tankers trading with India and Turkey, and the completion of final regulations for hydrogen as fuel at the IMO’s CCC 11 meeting. Additionally, the industry is addressing Russia’s fluctuating oil output and ongoing efforts to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through new studies on LNG well-to-tank emissions.
